Dr. Slater is a board certified general surgeon who treats a vast array of surgical issues. He is an expert in colonoscopy and upper endoscopy, minimally invasive surgery (gall bladder, hernia), breast disease, vein procedures and more. Dr. Slater did his undergraduate work at St. Olaf College, graduating with honors. He then pursued his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine where he also earned honors. He completed his surgical residency at Mayo Clinic, Rochester.
Dr. Slater enjoys spending time with his wife, Julie and their 3 children. They are active in their church and spend their spare time at the lake.
