PHYSICAL THERAPY AND REHABILITATION

At the Center for Specialty Care, a team of experienced professionals aid patients in their pursuit to return to their maximal function level due to sport or work-related injures as well as other debilitating conditions. Our team consists of licensed physical therapists, a certified athletic trainer, physical therapist assistants, and therapy aides. Our therapists work closely with Center For Specialty Care physicians and many family medicine physicians throughout the region to provide individualized, comprehensive care for each patient. A variety of outpatient treatments aid with pain relief, increasing range of motion, strength, and function following surgery.

Our Physical Therapists specialize in the evaluation and treatment of conditions of the shoulder, spine, hip, knee, ankle and foot. They use manual techniques, ultrasound, heat and cold, electrical stimulation and specialized equipment to help improve strength and flexibility, decrease pain and swelling and promote healing to allow patients to return to their previous activity level.
