The South Central Surgical Center is a freestanding Ambulatory Surgery Center “ASC” that is physician owned.  Our Surgery Center was built to meet the needs of our patients that require surgery and our mission for excellence is noted by our patients.  Our economical and convenient Surgery Center fosters a close working relationship with our patients and is very different from the “hospital” setting. We have a 24/7 after hour’s number that can be called for all types of orthopedic concerns.  We are licensed by the State of Minnesota and we are certified by Medicare.  We are also affiliated with most insurance companies and work with our patients to set up payment plans on a case-by-case basis.

Here at the South Central Surgical Center, we have established ourselves as a premier establishment that provides excellent outpatient orthopedic procedures with surgeons that exemplify high qualifications and experience.  We have an experienced team that specializes in out-patient orthopedic surgical care. South Central Surgical Center has one of the leading pain management specialists in the region, Joe Klick-CRNA.  Every patient is treated like a “VIP” patient and given the dignity and respect that they deserve.

Some of the more common surgeries provided at the South Central Surgery Center include knee, ankle, wrist, and shoulder arthroscopy, Partial knee and Total Knee replacements, Birmingham Hip Resurfacing procedure, foot surgery/procedures, fracture care, and pain management such as Epidural Steroid Injections.

We are licensed to keep patients up to 23 hours and have two comfortable, beautifully decorated patient rooms for this purpose. Some patients like the option of being able to “spend the night” at the Surgery Center where they are taken care of by our excellent staff.
