Rheumatologist Dr. Hal Martens specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of many different inflammatory conditions, most commonly different forms of arthritis.
The only rheumatologist routinely practicing in the region, Dr. Marten’s main office is in Fenton, MI. He has contributed to the Fairmont health care community by seeing patients at least once a month for the past three years.  Dr. Marten’s practice allows patients with rheumatoid arthritis and other immune disorders to stay close to home versus traveling to receive physician care.

Practicing rheumatology since 1991, Dr. Marten’s brings with him a plethora of experience in the field.  He is a graduate of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Flint, MI.  His rheumatology training was at U of Washington-Seattle.  The Specialty Care Clinic and Dr. Martens are able to provide patients with the most comprehensive and consistent orthopedic care in the region.
