Laura Schmid-Tyler, P.A. - C

Laura was born and raised in Avon, Minnesota and is a graduate of Moorhead
State University, Minnesota.  While there she was there she was the head
student athletic trainer for the varsity football and women's varsity
basketball teams.  Laura completed her certification to become a physician's
assistant at Wichita State University, Kansas, where she graduated Magna Cum
Laude.  She is a member of the American Academy of Physician's Assistants and Minnesota Academy of Physician's Assistants.

Before coming to Center For Specialty Care, Laura worked for fifteen years
in family practice at MidMichigan Health Park in Houghton Lake, Michigan.

Laura's years of experience and passion for athletics, orthopedics and patient care has made her a great addition to the Center for Specialty Care team. She will be helping Dr. Welchlin, Dr. Patrick, Dr. Martens and Dr. Erbes in seeing orthopedics, spine, rheumatology and podiatry patients in our Fairmont, Blue Earth and Pipestone offices.
